You will be guided mostly by one teacher but we will all be there to meet and greet and introduce the team!

With the festivities over, the tree packed away and new years intentions set, the month of January is a time to pause, reset and recharge.
I am delighted to be collaborating with Lindsey Brown, a Movement and Somatic Yoga Therapist, and Breathwork Facilitator of Conscious Connected Breathing.
The afternoon will begin with a Winter Yoga practise, transitioning from flow into stillness through dynamic and yin yoga. The energy of Winter and the Water Element invites us to re-set and re-charge - an opportunity to pause and reflect as we move into a new year.
In the second part of the afternoon Lindsey will guide a session of Conscious Connected Breathing - this is a dynamic, circular breath without pauses which supports a deeper connection to mental and emotional states. CCB can be a very powerful tool in supporting the release of repressed emotions, however it is also extremely effective at nervous system regulation, immune system support, stress reduction, and much more.
The nervous system shifts between sympathetic activation and parasympathetic which has huge benefits for emotional and nervous system resilience and heart health improving measurable outcomes such as greater Heart Rate Variability and vagal tone.
The class theme is ‘Embodied Wisdom’. We will tap into the innate wisdom of the body through somatic awareness, affirmations to promote a deeper connection to the practice and short breath holds placed throughout to to help navigate emotions that may arise from a more grounded place.
We will come together after the session for a warm drink and time to chat.

This monthly extended practise focuses on building strength and core stability to help you gain confidence to explore arm balances and inversions.
This is a fun and explorative class open to those looking for a challenge but knowing that it is all a journey which takes practise and patience.
The class begins with a warming flow, core drills, and upper body strengthening. We then move into a workshop style session, working towards specific arm balance or inversions.
Not suitable for beginners or those with shoulder injuries.
